Eric Otto accompanied with former NCBE participant Elodie Linck to Hold Workshop

Current Skidmore College faculty member Eric Otto along with student Elodie Linck will be holding a one-day workshop at the Lake Placid Center for the Arts on Sunday, February 10 (exact time TBA). They will teach Master classes in Ballet and Variations (12+) for the Senior company, and Ballet and Contemporary dance (10-12) for Junior company dancers.

The workshop is offered at no cost to all current NCBE participants.  For those who are non-NCBE participants and would like to attend the workshop, there will be $25 fee.   Please contact Ms. Schonbek via email at adncbe@yahoo.com if you are interested in attending the workshop and with any questions.

Eric Michael Otto was born and raised in Westchester, New York. He began dancing at the age of seven with the School of American Ballet in New York City. He has danced professionally with the New York City Ballet, American Ballet Theatre, Metropolitan Opera Ballet, Cedar Lake Contemporary Ballet and BalletX. He was an original cast member of Twyla Tharp’s Come Fly Away, performing the leading role of Sid. Mr. Otto was invited to join the cast of Tharp’s Movin’ Out where he starred in the Broadway and First National Tour companies as James. He has appeared on Broadway in The Phantom of the Opera and toured with Twyla Tharp for her 50th Anniversary.

Elodie Linck is a sophomore at Skidmore College in Saratoga Springs, NY. She is a double major in Dance: Performance and Choreography and Political Science. Before beginning her studies at Skidmore, Elodie trained with the Lake Placid School of Ballet and Dance and NCBE.
